What area do you serve?

Southwestern Ontario.

What kind of music do you play?

We play whatever you and your guests want to hear.  All of our crews carry an enormous and up to date music collection containing thousands of hits songs on CD's.  We take requests, and read the crowd and find the music that they best enjoy.

How far in advance should I book?

I would recommend that you call for an appointment as soon as you have booked your date.   Some dates are booked up 2 years in advance, and some dates aren't booked until a month before.  All Dates are first come, first served, with a retainer required to hold a date.

What if I can't meet with you, can I book by phone or fax?

You may call us anytime and leave a message with our answering service.  I will call you back as soon as possible and can fax you a contract and all the necessary paperwork.

Do you have all the latest music?

Yes.  We stay up to date with subscriptions to the latest releases in many music formats.

How many hours are included?

Most of our price quotes include 7 hours of service(6 pm- 1 am).  However, we have different packages available to fit many different events.

Do you play over cocktails and dinner?

Generally softer music, such as jazz instrumentals, soft rock or love songs, at a volume that is low enough to allow your guests to talk.

Can you play at my wedding ceremony as well?

Absolutely.  We can add additional hours and systems at a reasonable rate.

When will my DJ arrive at the event?

All set ups are done earlier in the day than your event is scheduled to start.  Your DJ will arrive about 30 minutes prior to start time.

What will our DJ's wear?

All of our DJ's are professionally attired in suit & tie or formal wear.

Can I see the DJ perform live?

We usually do bridal showcases so you may see us there.  It is difficult to invite clients to other clients weddings.

What kind of equipment is provided?

Centre Stage Entertainment uses only the newest, top of the line professional DJ audio and lighting equipment.  All of our equipment is tested regularly to keep it in good repair, and we have back up systems available in case of any unforeseen problems.  A cordless microphone is available for speeches and toasts.

Are lighting effects included?

We have several different lighting packages which you may choose from.

How long has Centre Stage Entertainment been in business?

Centre Stage DJ's was formed in 2000 and expanded to Centre Stage Entertainment in 2003.

How much of a retainer is required?

We require 50% down to hold the date.  The balance is due at the start of the event.

Who will be my DJ?

Centre Stage Entertainment is owned by me, Alex Lopetrone.  I employ a staff of 5-6 DJ's and Entertainers who are professionally trained for all types of events.   All of my staff was hired based on their talent and professionalism.  They all have good reputations of their own, and I have complete confidence in their service.  The reputation of my company is far too important to me to settle for anything less.

Are our prices fair?

Most people say that the most important parts of a great party are the music and the food.   They usually forget the meal before they forget the music!  Yet, at a typical wedding of 150 guests, the price per meal is often $35 - $70.  My DJ  services start at about 5$ per person.
